Job Description
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Active CPC/CPC-A license
- Bachelor’s Degree in Medical field or any relevant course
DESCRIPTION:
- Abstracts patient charts and assign appropriate diagnostic codes.
- Synopsize important information from patient records and assign/ review medical codes for accuracy.
- Responsible for ensuring codes meet all federal, legal & Insurance regulations so payments are obtained in a timely manner.
- Keep abreast of coding guidelines and reimbursement reporting requirements.
- Update skill and knowledge levels in accordance with CMS approved (AHA and AMA) coding changes.
- Complies with confidentiality standards and HIPAA privacy regulations.
- Perform other tasks and projects as needed by medical coding operations.
Earn up to 32,00 salary package
