Job Description
To contribute to customer satisfaction by preparing and serving high-quality food products in accordance with the standards of the hotel. Chef de Partie will closely work with the Demi Chef de Partie/s & Executive Sous Chef in creating signature dishes, all-day menus, promotions, and specialty menus.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Co-ordinates all hot and cold food preparation including banquets when necessary
- Prepares sauces, soups, entrees, appetizers, salads, breads, and desserts for service and special functions
- Demonstrates recipe knowledge to improve quality and efficiency
- Ensures kitchen personnel are informed of specials and plate presentations
- Assists in maintaining cleanliness and quality of food products
- Submits daily production reports promptly
- Consults with supervisor on menus and portion control
