Job Description
As the Chief Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our agency, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing financial statements, reports, and budgets
- Managing and monitoring accounts payable and receivable
- Overseeing payroll processing and ensuring employees’ compensation compliance
- Conducting financial analysis and providing recommendations for improvement
- Collaborating with external auditors and ensuring compliance with regulations
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Proven experience in accounting, preferably in the maritime industry
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
- Proficient in using accounting software and MS Excel
- Excellent communication and managerial skills
