Job Description
A Claims Adjuster is responsible for investigating insurance claims to determine the extent of the insurance company’s liability. They evaluate claims, gather evidence, interview witnesses, and negotiate settlements to ensure fair and timely resolutions.
Key responsibilities include analyzing policy coverage, reviewing documentation, and assessing damages to determine the validity of claims. Claims Adjusters also communicate with policyholders, attorneys, and medical professionals to gather necessary information.
To excel in this role, candidates should possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. Prior experience in insurance or claims adjusting is preferred.
