Job Description:
As a Clerk-Reservations, you will be responsible for handling all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received via phone, fax, or email. Your main tasks will include identifying guests’ booking needs, verifying room availability and rates, explaining guarantees and policies, and answering inquiries about hotel facilities and room accommodations. Additionally, you will be required to follow sales techniques to maximize revenue and input data into reservation systems.
You must possess excellent communication skills, be able to handle guest issues, and maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work well within a team is essential. This is a non-management position and does not require relocation or remote work.
