Job Description
Job Summary:
A clinical supervisor oversees the work of less experienced clinical staff members, mentors them, and helps hone their skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Helps ensure that a medical facility and its staff maintain a high level of ethical and professional standards.
- Works to improve healthcare services.
- Counsels and trains newly hired clinical staff.
- Consults with and supports clinical staff in the efforts to serve patients.
- Helps improve communication among employees in a clinical environment.
- Monitors the use of resources to determine when there is a need for additional staff.
- Assists clinical workers in obtaining more education and helps them find ways to enhance their skills.
- Inspects the facility to recommend building modifications or changes in processes to ensure patient safety.
- Ensures that all clinical staff is accurately notating patients’ electronic health records.
Job Specification:
Education: Graduate of any four years medical-related courses.
