Job Description
A Cloud Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining the cloud infrastructure of a company. They work closely with the IT team to ensure the smooth operation of cloud-based systems and applications.
The primary responsibilities of a Cloud Administrator include:
- Deploying and configuring cloud infrastructure in accordance with company requirements
- Monitoring and optimizing the performance of cloud-based systems
- Managing user access and security protocols
- Responding to and resolving any issues related to cloud infrastructure
- Collaborating with development teams to ensure seamless integration of new applications
Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is required. Additionally, a Cloud Administrator should have a good understanding of networking, security, and server administration.
