Job Description
A Collection Associate is responsible for managing the collection process and ensuring timely payments from customers. They will work closely with customers to resolve outstanding invoices and negotiate payment arrangements. Additionally, they will maintain accurate records of collection activities and handle customer inquiries regarding their account status.
The ideal candidate for this position should have strong communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to work well under pressure. Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills are also essential for managing multiple customer accounts effectively.
Key responsibilities:
- Monitor and track outstanding customer invoices
- Contact customers to collect payments and resolve outstanding invoices
- Negotiate payment plans and agreements with customers
- Maintain detailed records of collection activities
- Handle customer inquiries regarding account status
