Job Description
A Collections Representative is responsible for managing overdue accounts and ensuring timely collection of payments. This position requires strong communication and negotiation skills to effectively interact with delinquent customers and find mutually beneficial solutions. The Collections Representative will also handle documentation, maintain accurate records, and provide regular reports to management regarding collection activities.
The ideal candidate for this role should have experience in collections or a similar field. They should possess excellent problem-solving skills and be able to handle difficult conversations with customers tactfully. Proficiency in using collection software and familiarity with collection regulations and procedures are also desirable qualities.
