Job Description
A Collections Specialist is responsible for managing and overseeing the collection of outstanding payments from customers. This role involves contacting customers to secure payment, resolving billing issues, and negotiating payment plans. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Manage collection efforts to ensure timely payment from customers.
- Communicate with customers to address payment issues and negotiate payment solutions.
- Update internal records and systems with payment information.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve customer disputes and discrepancies.
