Job Description
We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to fill the position of COMMIS 1 in our esteemed restaurant. As a COMMIS 1, you will be responsible for assisting the chefs in the preparation and cooking of delicious dishes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the daily preparation of ingredients
- Follow recipes and cooking techniques as instructed by the chefs
- Maintain a clean and organized working environment
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient operations
- Monitor food quality and ensure compliance with food safety standards
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a similar role or culinary education is preferred
- Basic knowledge of food handling and preparation techniques
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
