Job Description
Overview of the role:
We are seeking dynamic and motivated hospitality professionals to join us as Commis I at The Hongkong and Shanghai Hotels, Limited. The ideal candidate will assist in preparing all necessary mise en place, ensuring excellence in food preparations.
Key Accountabilities:
- Prepare and supervise food in the assigned kitchen.
- Conduct daily checks of all refrigerators and freezers.
- Maintain cleanliness of food storage areas.
- Ensure kitchen utensils and workstations are tidy.
- Assist in all kitchens as assigned.
General Requirements:
- 2-3 years experience in a 5-star hotel or reputable restaurant.
- Culinary degree preferred with HACCP Certification.
- Strong leadership skills and attention to food quality.
