Job Description
We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Commis-Pastry (Reliever) to join our team. As a Commis-Pastry (Reliever), you will support the pastry department by assisting in the preparation and production of various baked goods and dessert items.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in measuring and mixing ingredients for pastry recipes
- Prepare and bake various types of pastries, cakes, and desserts
- Decorate and plate desserts according to presentation standards
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Follow recipes and production schedules
- Collaborate with other team members and chefs to ensure efficient operations
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Commis-Pastry or in a similar role
- Knowledge of pastry techniques and recipes
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work well in a team
- Flexible schedule, as some shifts may be assigned during weekends and holidays
