Job Description
Position Accountability Statement:
This position is responsible for effectively managing and conveying the organization’s messages to various stakeholders, including employees, customers, media, and the public. Duties involve developing communication strategies, crafting content like press releases, articles, and social media posts, handling media relations, and ensuring consistent messaging across all channels. The Communications Specialist also monitors and analyzes communication efforts for impact and effectiveness.
Key Tasks:
- Manage agendas and reports for executive meetings.
- Craft internal and external messaging for understanding and buy-in.
- Coordinate with various teams to align communication efforts.
- Assist in preparing executive team documents.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT:
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or related field. Master’s Degree in Communications or specialized areas preferred.
