Job Description
A Computer Laboratory Technician is responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting computer hardware and software within a laboratory environment. This includes installing and configuring computer systems, monitoring and maintaining network connections, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing technical support to laboratory users.
Key responsibilities include:
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining computer hardware and software
- Monitoring and maintaining network connectivity
- Diagnosing and resolving technical issues with computers and peripherals
- Providing technical support and assistance to laboratory users
- Ensuring the security and integrity of computer systems and data
The ideal candidate for this position should have a strong understanding of computer hardware and software, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team. A degree or certification in computer science or a related field is preferred.
