Job Description
Construction Interface Manager
A Construction Interface Manager is responsible for coordinating and managing the interface between different construction works and parties involved in a project. They ensure smooth communication and collaboration between contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing an interface management plan to identify and address potential conflicts and issues during construction.
- Facilitating regular meetings and discussions between relevant parties to solve problems and ensure adherence to project specifications and timelines.
- Monitoring construction activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and contractual requirements.
- Reviewing and assessing design documents, drawings, and other technical specifications to identify potential interface issues.
- Coordinating with different teams to resolve conflicts, design changes, and technical clashes.
- Maintaining accurate records of interface issues and resolutions, and providing regular reports to project stakeholders.
