Job Description
We are seeking a Contracting & Credentialing Specialist to oversee provider contracting and credentialing processes. Key duties include preparing and negotiating contracts, conducting primary source verifications, maintaining credentialing files, submitting payer applications (Medicare, Medicaid), tracking expirations and recredentialing, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and coordinating communications with providers and network partners.
- Requirements: 2+ years of experience in healthcare contracting or credentialing; familiarity with CAQH and credentialing software.
- Must demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication, and strong organizational skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred; ability to meet deadlines and handle confidential information required.
