Job Description
About the Role
Supports kitchen operations by preparing ingredients, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting chefs to ensure high-quality food service and customer satisfaction.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, and measuring food items.
- Assist in cooking and plating dishes according to recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations, utensils, and equipment.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times. Receive and store deliveries properly, checking for quality and freshness.
- Dispose of waste and handle cleaning tasks as assigned. Support kitchen staff and chefs during busy periods.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations. Follow company policies, recipes, and portion control standards.
What We’re Looking For
- At least High School graduate (Culinary training or related experience preferred).
- Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen safety.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Physically fit and able to stand for long periods.
- Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
