Job Description
Responsible for the efficient and safe movement of materials and equipment within a transportation or logistics setting. This includes loading and unloading trucks, organizing and maintaining inventory, and ensuring that materials are properly stored and transported.
Job Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading materials and equipment from trucks and other transportation vehicles
- Organizing and maintaining inventory in a warehouse or storage facility
- Using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor belts to move materials
- Inspecting and documenting the condition of materials and equipment
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and procedures
- Collaborating with other team members to coordinate the movement of materials
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification in material handling
- Valid driver’s license depending on the material handling equipment
