Job Description
A Credit Controller Officer plays a vital role in managing the credit and collections process for a company. Their primary responsibility is to ensure that the company’s outstanding debts are collected on time.
Key responsibilities:
- Reviewing and assessing credit applications of new clients
- Monitoring and managing the credit limits on existing clients
- Identifying and investigating any late payments or outstanding balances
- Contacting clients to collect outstanding debts and resolve any payment issues
- Preparing regular reports on the company’s credit and collections status
- Updating customer records and maintaining accurate financial data
The ideal candidate for this position should have a strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Proficiency in financial software and knowledge of credit control best practices are also highly desirable.
