Job Description
Singa Ship Management Phils., Inc. is looking for an experienced Crewing Coordinator that can cope up with this job mission:
- Works in a team as a Person-In-Charge for assigned vessel(s)
- Works with our internal system and updates information regularly
- Ensures that joining crew are complete and are travel-ready with valid documentation prior to our vessel’s scheduled deployment/dispatch dates
- Acts as the communication link between the crew, vessel, shoreside, and crew’s family
- Ensures the availability of updated information about joiners and leavers
- Ensures that all joining crew members will embark their assigned vessels according to their confirmed schedule and rotation plan
- Ensures that all crew members have complete documents including appropriate training certificates
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- College graduate, preferably with working knowledge of maritime crewing
- At least 6 months of experience in a maritime manning agency
- Background in recruitment or manpower deployment is preferred
- Deck and Engine background is an advantage
SKILLS AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong administrative background, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize
- Possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Meticulous, proactive, positive attitude and demeanor, active listener
- Strong team player, adaptable, and flexible
- Quick learner on matters pertaining to international and local rules and regulations on crewing
- Conversant in spoken English and fluent in written English
- Computer literate and proficient in MS Office applications
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: Php20,00.00 – Php25,00.00 per month
