Job Description
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Migration Specialist to join our team. As a Data Migration Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and accurate transfer of data from one system to another.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data migration requirements.
- Analyze and extract data from various databases and legacy systems.
- Perform data cleansing, transformation, and mapping exercises to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Develop and execute data migration strategies and plans.
- Monitor data migration activities to identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise.
- Provide post-migration support and troubleshooting assistance.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Data Migration Specialist or similar role.
- Strong understanding of data migration principles and processes.
- Proficiency in SQL and database management.
- Knowledge of data quality and data governance best practices.
