Job Description
Octal Philippines Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Data Specialist. As a Data Specialist, you will be responsible for managing, organizing, and analyzing large sets of data. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills and a passion for working with data within the IT industry.
Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and organize data from various sources
- Analyze data and identify trends, patterns, and insights
- Develop and maintain data management processes and procedures
- Create and implement data quality initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives
- Generate reports and visualizations to present data findings
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in data management and analysis
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
- Proven experience in data analysis, data management, or related roles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in SQL and database management
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
