Job Description
Octal Philippines, Inc. is currently seeking a Data Specialist to join our team. As a Data Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing database designs while adhering to data quality standards. In addition, you will analyze DB scripts for problem resolution and performance optimization, provide technical consultancy, and respond to error reports, problems, and questions.
You will also contribute to planning for the organization and access of data, support development through data script review and endorsement for new release applications, lead the data team in migration and conversion projects, and be involved in the implementation of business intelligence.
Acquiring and developing knowledge of industry practices is essential to develop new ways to use existing data and add business value. Additionally, you will participate in planning for data quality implementation, monitoring compliance with data standards, and identifying areas of improvement.
This is a full-time position with a schedule of an 8-hour shift during the day. The ability to commute to Taguig City is required, and relocation to Taguig City before starting work is also required.
