Job Description
As a Demand and Material Planner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient and effective supply chain management for Ionics EMS Inc. You will be responsible for analyzing demand patterns, forecasting future demand, and developing plans to meet those demands.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with sales and marketing teams to gather demand data and insights
- Utilizing demand planning software to generate accurate demand forecasts
- Monitoring inventory levels and making data-driven decisions to optimize stock levels
- Communicating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials
- Analyzing and resolving any demand and supply discrepancies
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement within the supply chain
To be successful in this role, you should have strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. A background in supply chain management or a related field is preferred.
