Job Description
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Deputy Chief of Party for the USAID Global Health Security Proposal. As the Deputy Chief of Party, you will play a crucial role in implementing and managing our global health security initiatives in collaboration with various stakeholders.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the Chief of Party in strategic planning and project management
- Ensuring effective coordination and communication among project teams and partners
- Overseeing the implementation of project activities and monitoring their progress
- Providing technical expertise in global health security measures
- Supporting capacity building efforts and knowledge sharing initiatives
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- A master’s degree in public health, global health, or a related field
- At least 7 years of experience in managing international health programs
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience working with USAID or other donor-funded projects
- Knowledge of global health security frameworks and best practices
