JOB SUMMARY
The applicant should be skilled, knowledgeable, and capable of automating the entire DevOps pipeline, including application performance monitoring, CI/CD cycles, infrastructure and configuration management, and many others. They must deeply understand the DevOps toolset, coding, and scripting. Strong understanding of an on-premise system architecture. Our developer team and this position are fully remote.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Understanding customer requirements
- Implementing various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure
- Managing stakeholders and external interfaces
- Setting up tools and required infrastructure
- Defining and setting development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operation
- Have the technical skill to review, verify, and validate the software code developed in the project
- Troubleshooting techniques and fixing bugs
- Monitoring the processes during the entire lifecycle for its adherence and updating or creating new processes for improvement
- Encouraging and building automated processes wherever possible
- Identifying and deploying cybersecurity measures by continuously performing vulnerability assessment and risk management
- Incidence management and root cause analysis
- Coordination and communication within the team and with the business
- Selecting and deploying appropriate CI/CD tools
- Strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline)
- Mentoring and guiding team members
- Monitoring and measuring customer experience
- Managing periodic reporting on progress to management
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Experience with automated builds (Ansible, Docker, DockerHub, On Premise Kubernetes or Docker Swarm, Github)
- Experience with Python web applications and task queues (Django, Celery)
- Experience with PostgreSQL (Postgres, Replication, PgBackrest, PgBouncer, Scaling)
- Competence with Linux system administration and web servers (Debian, Docker, Nginx)
- Setup of monitoring and alerting for both servers and log files (Prometheus, Grafana)
- Setup and maintenance of supporting services for applications (NFS, CUPS)
- Configuration of web based services (NGINX, Cloudflare)
- Understanding of Networking (Firewall, DNS, Routing)
- Proficient understanding of code versioning using Git (GitHub)
- Ability to communicate well via synchronous and asynchronous methods
- Self-motivation with attention to details
- Ability to work remotely with a team
MUSTS:
1) Stellar English communication skills (C1 & up ONLY)
2) Available to work long-term within U.S. business hours

- Experience in Proxmox
