Job Description
Major Responsibilities:
- Uses knowledge of shipping lanes and partner carriers to negotiate freight coverage.
- Reviews loads and load parameters.
- Negotiates rates with carriers and assigns shipments.
- Develops customer/carrier relationships and schedules pickups/deliveries.
- Tracks booked freight, resolves issues, and communicates changes.
- Collaborates with accounting and customer services departments.
- Works in a 24/7 operation with on-call service on rotation.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- College diploma or university degree with fluent English.
- Experience as a Dispatch Coordinator with strong computer skills.
- Good time-management, ability to prioritize, and learn new software.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in EST.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Salary: Php1,200,00.00 – Php1,500,00.00 per year
Expected hours: 35 per week
