Job Description
The position available is for a furniture draftsman who is able to both draw furniture mechanically on a full-size, as well as translate design intents/full-size drawings in AutoCAD. Must have experience working with loose furniture (chairs, tables, beds) with understanding of basic carpentry. Must be familiar with mainly wood furniture, and have experience with metal furniture.
Must be able to follow-up during production/construction to make sure actual furniture matches drawings. May talk to clients regarding design and interpretation of shop drawings/full sizes.
Qualifications:
- Knowledgeable about furniture drafting
- With at least 2 years of experience in furniture drafting
- Understands basic carpentry
- Proficient in AutoCAD
- Preferably familiar with Revit
