Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Executes the daily scheduled electrical maintenance activities of the plant.
• Ensures that all electrical/IT/modifications works are in accordance with approved and standard maintenance procedure and guidelines and existing Philippines/Local codes.
• Monitors and ensures that all electrical/IT equipment and machineries are properly maintained in top running condition.
• Conducts regular inspection of all running equipment and machineries and immediately reports to his supervisor any abnormalities that are noted.
• Attends to the troubleshooting and repair of breakdowns and alarms in order to sustain continuous operation and avoid downtimes.
• Keeps all records pertaining to electrical maintenance and makes a proper turnover to the next shift Electrician.
• Ensures strict implementation of safety policy of the terminal within his area of responsibility.
• Executes and ensures the strict implementation of proper housekeeping within his area of responsibility and to the equipment and machineries being operated to maintain cleanliness and orderliness at all times.
• Operates the heavy equipment machinery and gen-set of the terminal as may be needed in the execution of maintenance activities or continuous operation of the plant with proper authorization from his superior.
• Performs other tasks as may be assigned by his superior.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of Electrical Engineering or any 4-year degree course but with NCII certification in electrical technician.
• With relevant experience in a related position.
• Willing to undergo trainings.
