Responsibilities:

• Handle a high volume of inbound/outbound calls for customers who need to be screened financially and medically for financial assistance.
• Utilize the company’s screening tool to determine customers’ eligibility for State and Federally funded programs.
• Conduct the appropriate application support based on state or federal regulations, facilitating the application process or guiding the customer to the next steps.
• Provide instruction or work directly with the customer or their appointed representative to complete the necessary application and obtain all required releases, signatures, and supporting documents.
• Submit the application and supporting documentation to the relevant institution following company protocols.
• Act as an advocate for the customer and establish collaboration with colleagues, client hospital personnel, and government agency staff to ensure eligibility coverage for medical expenses.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, maintaining a professional image.
• Achieve or exceed established productivity, quality, and revenue metrics.

Requirements:

• Minimum six months of experience in a customer service role, interacting directly with customers either in-person or over the phone.
• Experience in handling multiple critical priorities while ensuring quality and meeting performance metrics.
• Demonstrated ability to simplify complex information and effectively communicate with customers.
• Experience in accessing multiple databases simultaneously or managing multiple screens to gather information for customer discussions.
• Experience in live, accurate documentation of customer interactions.
• Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain HIPAA compliance.
• Proficiency in navigating Internet Explorer and Microsoft Office.
• Maintain acceptable attendance and meet schedule requirements.
• Must be willing to report onsite in Ortigas.
