Job Description
The Encoder is responsible for uploading soft copies and updating data of the seafarer’s documents (travel and training certificates) at Adonis. Upholds the privacy of data being handled to the highest degree. This position reports to the Marine Personnel Administrator.
Responsibilities:
- Locate the names of seafarers at Adonis and the location of documents (Email and Shared Drive).
- Match the data of the scanned document and Adonis Data and encode it.
- Upload the certificates on the correct placeholder at Adonis.
- Update the file of all seafarer’s documents uploaded upon completion.
- Scan the missing documents for uploading if needed.
Requirements:
- Degree in IT or Business Administration or related field.
- Entry-level position.
- Highly proficient in basic computer skills (uploading, scanning, and typing).
- Maritime Background (Crewing or Seafaring) would be desirable.
