Job Description:
The English Language Assessor evaluates tests and assessments of Japanese learners of English, focusing on proficiency levels and assessment methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessment Evaluation: Evaluate written and spoken assessments, ensuring alignment with criteria.
- Scoring and Feedback: Assign accurate scores based on rubrics.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain scoring consistency.
- Documentation and Reporting: Record and maintain assessment results.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in English, Linguistics, or Education is a PLUS. Prior teaching or assessment experience is a PLUS. Certification in language assessment is a plus.
Work Environment:
Office-based, work-life balance, and a supportive team.
Schedule:
8-hour shift, Monday to Friday, with day and evening shifts available.
