Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Farm Equipment Manager to lead and mentor equipment operators and mechanics, ensuring the safe and compliant operation of tractors, harvesters, and other machinery. You will oversee inspections, preventive maintenance planning, troubleshooting and repairs, manage inventory of parts and tools, handle purchasing, and recommend equipment upgrades. Coordinate equipment deployment with planting and harvest schedules to optimize uptime.
- Use fleet management systems, analyze operating costs, and negotiate service contracts.
- Enforce health, safety, and biosecurity protocols; ensure team licensure and training; respond calmly to emergencies.
- Requirements: deep knowledge of farm machinery, preventive maintenance expertise, fleet software experience, strong financial negotiation skills, and a valid driver’s license. Full-time, permanent position with benefits.
