Job Description
As a Finance Accounting Analyst 2 at Citi, you will play a critical role in analyzing financial data, preparing financial reports, and providing recommendations to improve financial performance. You will work closely with the finance team to support budgeting, forecasting, and decision-making processes.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing financial analysis and interpreting financial data.
- Preparing financial reports and presentations for management.
- Monitoring financial performance and identifying areas for improvement.
- Assisting in the budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Conducting variance analysis and proposing cost-saving measures.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize financial operations.
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and accounting principles.
To excel in this role, you should have a strong background in finance and accounting, excellent analytical skills, and proficiency in financial software and tools. A Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting is required, and professional certifications such as CPA or CMA are preferred.
