Job Description
As a Finance and Accounting Analyst – GL, you will be responsible for maintaining the company’s general ledger (GL) and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial transactions. Your main responsibilities will include reconciling general ledger accounts, preparing journal entries, managing intercompany transactions, and assisting with month-end and year-end closing processes.
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, along with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in using accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills are required. The ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines is a must.
Desired qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, relevant work experience in general ledger accounting, and a professional certification such as CPA or CMA. Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams are also essential.
