Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Perform bookkeeping and assist with the preparation of financial statements and management accounts.
- Handle bookkeeping tasks, including reconciling bank statements, inventories, and maintaining financial records.
- Assist with other financial reporting obligations, such as annual audits, business permits, and government mandatory reportorial requirements.
- Timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices according to payment policy.
- Assist with the reconciliation and preparation of inventory inbound/outbound recording against warehouse reports.
- Support regulatory and internal reporting, which includes monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting and any other ad hoc reporting to regulatory bodies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; professional certifications (CPA, CMA) preferred but not required.
- In-depth knowledge of Philippine financial regulations, tax laws, and reporting requirements.
- Proficient in spreadsheet and hands-on experience with accounting software (Xero accounting software is a plus).
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate insights effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
