Job Description
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our finance team as a Finance Staff – Fixed Assets. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company’s fixed assets, ensuring accurate recording, tracking, and disposal of fixed assets.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing periodic physical verification of fixed assets and reconciling physical count with the accounting records.
- Maintaining a comprehensive fixed asset register, including additions, disposals, and transfers.
- Preparing and analyzing depreciation schedules for all fixed assets.
- Assisting in the capital budgeting process by providing accurate data on the estimated useful life and replacement costs of assets.
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure compliance with fixed asset policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in fixed asset accounting.
- Proficient in using accounting software and MS Excel.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
