Job Description
SUMMARY:
The Accounts Payable Supervisor will oversee an accounts payable team, direct the processing of invoices and payments, and manage expense accounts and other related accounts and reports. Duties include ensuring correct payments are made in a timely manner, developing guidelines for proper handling and coding of invoices, analyzing expense reports for accuracy, reconciling accounts payable, monitoring reimbursements, conducting training, reviewing policies, assisting in report preparation, and other assigned duties.
PROFESSIONAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office
- Thorough understanding of accounts payable functions
- Excellent supervisory and analytical skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to motivate staff
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Graduate of Bachelor of Science and Accountancy
- Must have three or four years of accounting experience with at least two (2) years in a supervisory capacity
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- May work for long hours and be required to do fieldwork.
- Carry out any other tasks as assigned from time to time by the management.
