Job Description
MODIV, a global Consulting & Managed Services firm specializing in brand, marketing, and commercial strategy, is seeking a Financial Accountant. The role involves data entry, financial record keeping, invoice review, and assisting the Financial Manager in preparing monthly financial reports.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Manage and review ongoing reports and financial statement inputs, highlighting any issues to the Finance Manager.
- Handle Rental Transaction Reports (RTR), Guest Relations/Concierge (GR) Guest Charges, Maintenance/housekeeping, Guest Chargeback, and ongoing Track Management (Finance related).
- Work with the booking coordinator to revise and finalize owner statements, ensuring accurate posting of expenses and rental revenue for statement publishing.
- Assist the finance manager with detailed monthly revenue/expense reviews and collaborate with department heads for maximum profitability, waste reduction, and budget preparation/review.
- Develop and improve processes to increase efficiency.
- Report and escalate discrepancies as needed.
Qualifications:
- Degree in economics, finance, accounting, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of finance/accounting experience.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software.
- Strong bookkeeping skills.
- Good organizational skills, strong analytical ability, and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
