Job Description
A Financial Accounting Analyst is responsible for performing financial analysis and reporting activities to support the company’s financial operations. They ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data by analyzing financial statements, conducting financial research, and preparing financial reports.
Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing and reconciling financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
- Preparing financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Analyzing financial data and providing insights to improve financial performance.
- Assisting in budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Identifying and resolving financial discrepancies and conducting variance analysis.
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in finance and accounting, possess excellent analytical skills, and have a keen eye for detail. Strong knowledge of financial software and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is also required.
