Job Description
YourCareerPH is currently seeking a Certified Public Accountant with experience in creating Monthly Financials book and modules closing activities. As a Financial Accountant, your responsibilities will include manual journal preparation, calculations, analytical reports supporting various journals, and other related job responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Report to and assist Manager-Treasury and Statutory Reporting, ensuring compliance objectives for SEA Market Units are met
- Prepare financial statements for SEA Market Units in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards
- Monitor and coordinate audit requirements with respective departments and act as a point person with audit teams
- Review quarterly and annual corporate tax calculations for SEA market units
- Assist in the remediation process for audit points identified during audits
- Identify areas for process improvement and update internal controls documentation as appropriate
- Report audit and compliance status to stakeholders within the organization
- Occasionally perform internal audit assignments with a dotted line to the APAC Audit director
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience from a Big 4 audit firm (i.e. SGV, KPMG, PwC, or Deloitte – PH)
- Audit client base ideally should include engineering, telecommunications, or manufacturing industry
- Adept in handling several audit teams
- Advanced skills in using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Fluent in English with an engaging personality
