Job Description
A Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst is responsible for analyzing financial data, performing budgeting and forecasting activities, and providing strategic financial insights to support business decision-making.
The main tasks of an FP&A Analyst include:
- Gathering and analyzing financial data to develop forecasts and create financial models.
- Assessing financial performance and identifying areas for improvement.
- Preparing budgets and monitoring expenses to ensure adherence to financial targets.
- Creating financial reports and presentations to communicate insights to management.
- Participating in cross-functional teams and providing financial guidance on various projects.
To excel in this position, candidates should have a strong analytical mindset, be detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication and collaboration skills. Proficiency in financial analysis tools and advanced Excel skills are also desirable.
