Job Description
Balance Sheet Accounts
- Monitors, analyses and reports on inventory valuation, production, and various other costs;
- Checks/verifies Purchase Orders that require advance payment;
- Prepares monthly cash flow;
- Prepares monthly bank reconciliation;
- Prepares and posts month-end entries such as amortization of prepayments, depreciation, and adjusting entries relating to balance sheet accounts;
- Reconciles/verifies unpaid accounts of various suppliers and subcontractors;
- Performs verification and reconciliation of accounts on a monthly basis;
- Reconciles and verifies bank deposits and payments.
Income Statement Accounts
- Prepares and posts month-end entries such as construction income, collection, accrual of costs & expenses, and adjusting entries relating to income statement accounts;
- Prepares billing for costs incurred for non-joint venture transactions;
- Prepares year-end external audit schedules relating to income statement accounts.
