Job Description
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual for the position of Firewall Support (Meraki / Fortinet). As a Firewall Support specialist, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our organization’s network security infrastructure.
Your duties will include configuring, troubleshooting, and monitoring firewalls, ensuring the security of our network and protecting it against unauthorized access or potential threats. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background in firewall technologies, particularly with Meraki and Fortinet systems.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain firewall infrastructure based on business requirements.
- Monitor firewall performance, troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement network security policies and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, vulnerabilities, and threat intelligence.
- Provide training and support to end-users on security best practices.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in managing Meraki and/or Fortinet firewalls.
- Strong knowledge of network security concepts and practices.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills in identifying and resolving firewall-related issues.
- Good understanding of TCP/IP, VPN, and other network protocols.
- Professional certifications in network security (e.g., CCNA Security, Fortinet NSE) are highly desirable.
