Job Description
A Fixed Asset Custodian is responsible for maintaining accurate records of a company’s fixed assets, such as property, equipment, and machinery. They track the acquisition, depreciation, and disposal of these assets, ensuring they are properly accounted for.
The main duties include conducting regular audits to verify the existence and condition of fixed assets, updating asset registers, and coordinating with other departments to track asset movements. Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills are crucial in this role.
The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting principles and be proficient in using asset management software. Prior experience in asset management or inventory control is preferred.
