Job Description
A forklift operator is responsible for operating a forklift to move goods, materials, and equipment within a warehouse, storage facility, or construction site. The operator must be skilled in maneuvering the forklift efficiently and safely to ensure the proper handling of items while adhering to all safety regulations.
Key responsibilities include loading and unloading materials, stacking goods in designated storage areas, keeping track of inventory, and maintaining accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments. The forklift operator must also conduct routine maintenance checks on the forklift to ensure it is in good working condition.
