Job Description
A Forward Mortgage Loan Processor is responsible for managing and processing loan applications for forward mortgage lending. This role involves reviewing and verifying loan documentation, analyzing financial information, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
The ideal candidate for this position should possess strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively within a team. They must have a thorough understanding of mortgage lending processes and be capable of working in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze loan applications and related documentation
- Verify borrower information, financial statements, and credit reports
- Collaborate with loan officers, underwriters, and other stakeholders
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of loan files
- Generate required loan disclosures and documentation
- Monitor loan status and communicate updates to relevant parties
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in loan processing or a similar role
- Knowledge of mortgage lending regulations and procedures
- Proficient in using loan processing software and systems
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office applications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
