Job Description
- Sets-up and operates Gasket Foaming Machine and Laser Engraving Machine.
- Converts DXF file to COREL file. Edit if necessary, based on drawing and create program for laser engraving.
- Checks DXF files from Eng’g are correct. Communicates with Eng’g for necessary adjustments.
- Makes NC program for Gasket Foaming Machine.
- Keeps an organize file of programs for repeat orders, both for Gasket Foaming and Laser Engraving.
- Conducts & records daily maintenance activity based on checklist.
- Conducts daily updating of usage and inventory for materials, chemicals and consumables. Prepares requests when necessary. Receives & Inspects incoming materials.
- Operates label printer when the need arises.
- Ensures that received brackets are good before processing in foaming and engraving.
- Recommends and use proper machining jigs to increase productivity.
- Anticipates engraving and printing requirements. Performs “advance” production for engraving & printing. Completes Machining schedule as planned. Completes urgent items as instructed.
- Complies to all company and departmental policies and memos. Follows proper and on-time filing of leave. Observe proper wearing of uniform and PPEs & complies with 5S, safety & ISO standards.
- Properly fills out “Kanban” or Prodn Routing Sheet. Consistently conducts proper reporting in VISION.
- Attends scheduled training and other company sponsored activities.
- Immediately reports to production heads any abnormal condition.
