Job Description
As a GDS Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining relationships with Global Distribution System (GDS) providers. Your main objective will be to ensure the smooth operation and utilization of GDS platforms for our company’s travel-related services.
In this role, you will work closely with GDS partners to negotiate contracts, manage pricing and distribution strategies, and resolve any issues or concerns that may arise. You will also collaborate with internal teams to analyze market trends, identify business opportunities, and develop strategies to maximize revenue and enhance customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain relationships with GDS providers.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements.
- Monitor and analyze market trends and competitor activity.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement distribution strategies.
- Resolve any issues or concerns raised by GDS partners or internal stakeholders.
To be successful in this role, you should have a solid understanding of the travel industry, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and strong analytical abilities. You must also be familiar with GDS systems (such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Travelport) and have a proven track record in managing relationships with GDS providers.
